GEORGE III, undated Crown 'Patina' retrospective pattern series. Obverse: Portrait of King right after portrait by Webb and Mills for Mudie. Reverse: Pistrucci's St George and Dragon. Exergue plain. 2 sets of 7 metals plain edge, 2 sets of 7 metals milled edge. Metals are: 0.925 proof silver, nickel silver, piedfort copper, gold coated copper, platinum coloured alloy, aluminium, silver-coated piedfort. Uncirculated. (28)
Only 12 sets of each metal were made.
