Caracalla in military attire standing left, holding baton and sceptre, trophy behind, (S.6677, RIC 13, RSC 505); Septimius Severus, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 201, (3.26 g), obv. laureate head to right, rev. Septimius on horseback advancing to right, holding spear, (S.1782, RIC 91, RSC 578); Cappadocia, Caesarea, Septimius Severus, silver drachm, year 5 = 1978 A.D, (3.36 g), obv. laureate head to right, rev. mount Argaeus, on summit a star, in exergue ETE, (Syd. 395a).
