FRANCE, Institut Royal De France medal, undated (1814-1816), in bronze (50mm), obverse, bust of Liberty right, reverse, wreath, unnamed. Extremely fine.

The short-lived name, Institut Royal De France, was applied in 1814 under the Bourbon Restoration, then in 1816 the previous application of Academie was re-instituted with four sections.
