FRANCE, portrait medal of Marshal MacMahon, President of the Republique, undated, in bronze with cast ring surround decorated with laurel and oak leaves and suspension ring, (50mm centre medal, 77mm with outer surround) by P.Tasset (Forrer vi/19). Nearly very fine.

Patrice MacMahon, French General and politician, born 1808, Chief of State 1873-1875, first President of the Third Republic 1875-1879, died 1893.
