1632 Sgt R.King, 1/13th Foot, S.L.I. served for a total of twenty years and was engaged against Sekukuni in 1879 and against the Zulus also in 1879. Served for four years and 290 days in South Africa. Discharged with fracture of patella. General remarks: habits regular, conduct good.
