GOLF TROPHY, in silver by Hiramoto Silver Arts Works Co, Tokyo, decorated with a design of golf balls and a golf club at each side, lid featuring a golfer, mounted on a circular, black timber base (total height approx 30cm; weight excluding base .26kg), side of cup engraved in Japanese text (translated as Champion), plaque attached to base also engraved with Japanese text (translated as Jian Nian a Consul Cup). The decorative golf clubs affixed at either side have come away and need soldering back into place, otherwise good very fine.
