AURELIAN, (A.D. 270-275), billon antoninianus, issued 272, uncertain mint, (3.96 g), obv. radiate draped and cuirassed bust right of Aurelian, IMP AVRELIANVS P F AVG around, rev. IOVI CONSER around, emperor receiving globe from Jupiter, A in exergue, (S.11542, RIC 260, RSC 105). Dusty silvered toning, extremely fine and a very rare bust type of Aurelian.
