TRAJAN, (A.D. 98-117), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 106, (23.00 g), obv. laureate head of Trajan to right, drapery on shoulder, around IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P CO[S V P P], rev. around S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, S C in field, Victory standing to right, fastening a shield inscribed VIC DAC to a palm tree, (S.3201, RIC 528, BMC 454). Dark green patina, reverse edge surface porosity, otherwise fine and scarce, with collector's card description.
