PROVIDENT AVGG, Providentia standing to left, holding corn-ears and cornucopiae, modius at feet, VIXXI in exergue, (S.12256, RIC 447, C.83); Carausius, (A.D. 287-293), billon antoninianus, London mint, (3.88 g), obv. radiate draped and cuirassed bust of Carausius to right, around [IMP] CARAVSIVS P F AVG, rev. around P A X AVG, Pax standing to left holding vertical sceptre and branch, B E either side, [M]LXXI in exergue, (S.13639, RIC 101); Constantine I, (307-337 A.D.), AE folles, issued 325-326, Cyzicus mint, (2.64 g), obv. around CONSTAN TINVS AVG, laureate head to right, rev. around PROVIDEN TIAE AVGG, two turreted gateway to military camp, star above, SMKB. in exergue. (cf.S.16032, RIC 34). First and last with some silvering, both about extremely fine, Carausius very good and porous. (3)
