BOER WAR VESTA HOLDER, in stoneware for wax matches, marked for Usher's "O.V.C", 'Special Reserve', whiskey, Edinburgh, features image of wounded soldier from Richard Caton Woodville's painting, 'A gentleman in Kharki (sic)' and Rudyard Kipling's poem, 'The Absent minded Beggar', made by Raphael Tuck & Sons, London. Good very fine.
