JENKINS, William. No(14) Sydney, (July 14) 18(12) W.Jenkins. I Promise to Pay the Bearer the Sum of Two Shillings and Six-Pence, on demand, in copper coin 2s. 6d. (Wm Jenkins), (MVR type AW, (note mentioned in Vort Ronald Colonial Currency & Promissory Notes p.36), on thin watermarked ribbed paper. Minute pin holes, hinged backing, otherwise full and fine, very rare, the number, day and month uncertain.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 91 (lot 2973) and previously Sale 89 (lot 1892) from the W.G. & L.M.Wright Collection.
