PELOPONNESOS, Argolis, Argos, silver triobol, 480/s - 460's B.C., (3.03 g), obv. forepart of wolf with to left, legs parallel to body, as if the wolf was lying down, seven dots at back of neck, rev. A, cross bar horizontal, in shallow incuse square, in upper part two relatively shallow square incuses in the upper part, one dot below the crossbar, (cf.S.2786, BCD 1015. [p.253, LHS 96], Traite I, 1200 variety, BMC 9 variety [p.136]). Good fine and rare.
