LANARKSHIRE, Glasgow, John Slater, on Charles IIII Mexico City Mint eight reales, 1791, cancelled 5/- countermark on reverse, Glasgow City arms countermark on the obverse (Manville 42) (c1815-19). Partly flat on obverse countermark, dull toned, good fine and excessively rare, only one other known (in the British Museum).
