PHILISTIA, (Palestine), Uncertain mint, (c.Mid 5th century - 333 B.C.), silver Ma'ah or obol (0.54 g), obv. helmeted head of Athena to right, rev. owl standing right, head facing, olive spray behind, A**Q*E, before, (S.-, Gitler & Tal, 'The Coinage of Philistia of the Fifth and Fourth Centuries BC' Pl.G[IX.20a; cf.HGC 10, 610, cf.CNG Sale 96 lot 568). Fine - very fine on a squarish flan poorly struck but about as struck, rare.
