NORTH AFRICA, Kyrenaica, Kyrene, (c.308-277 B.C.), silver didrachm, (7.25 g, Rhodian standard), obv. head of Apollo Karneios with horn, to right, rev. K to left, cornucopiae to right of a silphium plant, (cf.S.6318, SNG Cop. 1234-5, BMC 228-233, cf.CNG E Auction 305, 20.11.2013 [lot 150 similar dies]). Lightly toned, nearly very fine and scarce.
