NORBANVS below, XXXXVIIII behind, rev. ear of corn, fasces and caduceus within dotted border, (S.278, Cr.357/1b, Syd.739, B.Norbana 2); Man. Acilius Glabrio, (c.49 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.64 g), obv. Salus laureate head to right, SALVTIS upwards behind, rev. Valetudo (Salus) standing left leaning against column and holding serpent, around MN ACILIVS III VIR VALETV, (S.412, Cr.442/1a, Syd.922, RSC Acilia 8). Fine - very fine, some surface roughness on both coins. (2)
