EGYPT, Alexandria mint, Pescennius Niger, (193-194 A.D.), AE 23 = diobol (6.88 g), dated year 1 (193-4 A.D.), obv. Laureate bust to right of Pescennius Niger, rev. Isis seated to left, L / A to l., (Koln -; D.-, Milne -). Porous reverse, has been holed and crudely plugged, has been tooled otherwise, very fine/very good and extremely rare, apparently unpublished.
