Sabinus, silver denarius, issued 89 B.C., 3.73 grams, Rome Mint, Crawford 344/1a, Sydenham 698, BMC 2322, B.Tituria 1, Obv. Bearded head of King Tatius to r., before TA monogram, behind [SABIN], dotted border, Rev. Two Roman soldiers, each bearing a woman in his arms (Rape of the Sabine women), in exergue L. TITVRI, dotted border; another L. Titurius L.f. Sabinus, silver denarius, issued 89 B.C., 3.91 grams, Rome Mint, Crawford 344/1c, Sydenham 698b, BMC 2324, B.Tituria 3, Obv. Bearded head of King Tatius to r., before palm below chin and A. PV, behind SABIN, dotted border, Rev. Two Roman soldiers, each bearing a woman in his arms (Rape of the Sabine women), in exergue L. TITVRI, dotted border. Toned, fine - very fine, (1426, 1438, 1440). (3)
