Victory in biga to r., C CATO below horses, ROMA in exerque; another M. Carbo, silver denarius, c.122 B.C., 3.86 grams, Rome Mint, Crawford 279/1, Sydenham 415, BMC Italy 472, B. Papiria 7, Obv. Head of Roma r. helmeted, X behind, Rev. Jupiter in quadriga to r., CARB below horses ROMA in exerque; another C. Vibius C.f.Pansa, silver denarius, c.90 B.C., 4.04 grams, Rome Mint, Crawford 342/5b, Sydenham 684, BMC 2251, B. Vibia 2e, Sear 260, Obv. Head of Apollo r. large with locks of hair heavy and scattered and coarser style, uncertain symbol below, Rev. Minerva in quadriga to r., C. VIBIV[S C.F.] in exerque. Mostly toned, fine - very fine, (1521; 1523; 1527). (3)
