Bearded head of King Tatius to r., before palm below chin, behind SABIN, dotted border, Rev. Two Roman soldiers, each bearing a woman in his arms (Rape of the Sabine women), in exergue [L.] TITVRI, dotted border; another P. Furius Crassipes, silver denarius, issued 84 B.C., 3.65 grams, Rome Mint, Crawford 356/1c, Sydenham 735, BMC 2605, B.Furia 19, Obv. Turreted head of City to r., behind AED CVR, deformed foot downwards, dotted border, Rev. Curule chair, P. FOVRIVS inscribed on it, in exergue CRASSIPES, dotted border. Both toned, Very fine; good very fine, both scarce, (1439,1441). (2)
