L. ROSCIUS FABATUS, silver denarius, Issued 64 B.C., 3.93 grams, Rome Mint, Crawford 412/1, Sydenham 915, B. Roscia 3, BMC 3395 (die combination No.2), Obv. Head of Juno Sospita to r., wearing goat's skin tied under the chin; below [L.] ROSCI, on l. amphora, Rev. Female figure standing to r., and feeding from her dress a serpent, erect before her, behind a vase stand, in exergue FABAT[I], Serrated edge. Good very fine and very scarce, (1454).
