MAXIMINUS I, (A.D. 235-238), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.40 g), issued 235-6, obv. IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. VICTORIA AVG, Victory advancing to right, holding wreath and palm, (S.8317, RIC 16, RSC 99a); another (3.14 g), Rome mint, rev. Fides standing facing head to left, holding two standards, around FIDES MILITVM, (cf.S.8307, RIC 7A, RSC 7a); another two, Rome mint, (2.91, 3.09 g), rev. Salus seated to left, snake emerging from altar, SALVS AVGVSTI, (S.8316, RIC 14, RSC 85). Mostly toned, good very fine - extremely fine. (4)
