SAECVLARES AVGG around, low column inscribed COS III; another issued 248 A.D., Rome Mint, 3.48 grams, RIC 21, C.189, Obv. Radiate bust to r. of Philip I, draped and cuirassed seen partly from behind, IMP PHILIPPVS AVG around, Rev. SAECVLARES AVGG around, Antelope walking to l., below in exergue UI; another issued 248 A.D., Rome Mint, 4.46 grams, RIC 15, C.178, Obv. Radiate bust to r. of Philip I, draped and cuirassed seen partly from behind, IMP PHILIPPVS AVG around, Rev. SAECVLARES AVGG around, She wolf standing to l., suckling the twins, below in exergue II. Very fine - extremely fine, several scarce, hoard patina on last coin, (396-7, 399). (3)
