Radiate beardless bust to r. of Philip II, draped and cuirassed seen slightly from behind, IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG around, Rev. AETERNIT IMPER around, Sol advancing to l., raising r. hand and holding whip; another issued 247-249 A.D., Rome Mint, 4.50 grams, RIC 230 (Philip I), C.17, Obv. Radiate beardless bust to r. of Philip II, draped and cuirassed seen slightly from behind, IMP PHILIPPVS AVG around, Rev.
