BATTLE OF THE NILE, Davidson's Nile Medal, 1798, in bronze (48mm; 40.5g) by Kuchler, (BHM 447, Eimer 890), with incuse edge inscription. Cleaned, some surface marking, otherwise fine.

Ex J. and J. Edwards Collection.

Issued in bronze to crew of ships who saw service in Lord Nelson's victory of the Nile, 1 August 1798.
