Neville W. Larman 431 (R.C.A.F.) Sqdn. 1945 on first medal, Fg. Offr. N.W.Larman R.A.F.V.R. on second - fifth medals, Const. Neville W. Larman on the last medal. The first five medals pantograph engraved except for 1945 on bottom arm of the first medal which is engraved, the last medal impressed. Very fine - good very fine.

Citation: 'Pilot Officer Larman is an intelligent conscientious Flight Engineer who under a calm and quiet manner, has set a fine offensive spirit, which enhances the morale of his crew. He has completed twenty-five sorties against the enemy during which time he has displayed courage and fortitude of the highest order. Displaying courage and outstanding ability throughout his many trips against the enemy Pilot Officer Larman has played more than his part in ensuring the serviceability of the minute details of his machine, thus allowing his crew to complete all their missions successfully and efficiently, raining the maximum destruction on the enemy targets.'

Neville Wyndham Larman was a police constable at Plymouth, England when he joined the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He trained as an engineer and volunteered for aircrew duties being commissioned. He flew on operations with No.431 Sqn, a Canadian squadron, in 4 Group on Lancaster BIII from Croft in Yorkshire. He completed his tour of duty over North West Europe and he then was posted to a training role. After the war, he returned to the police force and in 1951 was awarded the Police Long Service Medal.
