CHINA, a flat circular jade pendant in the form of a dragon identically carved both sides with incised decoration in a grey green stone with brown and white suffusions, 7.5 cm diameter, probably c.18th century. Good fine, rare.

Ex. Taguchi Minoru collection (No.76) and private academic collection, Canberra. See Laufer, Berthold (1946, p.188, Pl.93) and Taguchi Minoru (1937, p.17 top left jade in bottom left tray, This Jade, Xerox copy included in lot).
