ITALY, Lucania, Thurium (Thourioi), (c.350 B.C.), silver nomos, stater or didrachm, (7.676 grams), obv. head of Athena to right wearing crested Athenian helmet, ornamented with figure of Scylla, rev. bull butting to right, **QOURIWN*, I below, [tunny fish below in exergue], with dotted and plain exergual line, (cf.S.442; cf.SNG ANS 1059 [same reverse die]). Traces on understrike, otherwise very fine and rare.
