SICILY, Syracuse, reign of Hiketas, (288-279 B.C.), AE 20, (10.478 grams), obv. bust of youthful laureate head of Zeus Hellanios to left, rev. eagle to left with open wings standing on thunderbolt, legend off the flan, (S.1211, BMC 468, SNG ANS 814-817). Brown patina, good very fine/very fine and scarce.

Ex Patrick Cooper Collection with his ticket and previously acquired from in London in September 1999.
