MACEDON, Kingdom of, Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.33 g), Amphipolis IIB mint, issued c.342/1-329/8 B.C., obv. head of Zeus laureate to right, rev. naked youth or small man (Philip II), on horseback to right, bee in field below, janiform head to right, above and round **FILIP POU*. (cf.S.6680, Le Rider 454 [Pl.41, p.115, dies D226, R405], Muller 270). In high relief, round attractive pale grey tone, very fine and rare.
