ATTICA, Athens, (c.400 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.96 g), probably an Eastern copy, obv. crude Archaic style head of Athena to right wearing Attic helmet, rev. owl standing to right, head facing with broad neck, to left olive spray, to right traces of **AQE*, all in incuse square, (S.2527, BMC 74). Worn, porous fields, very good, cut on obverse across cheek.
