PELOPONNESOS, Sikyonia, Sikyon, (issued late 330's B.C.), silver stater, (11.88 g), obv. Chimaera walking to left, **SE* below, wreath above, rev. dove flying to left, I before, all within wreath, (cf.S.2763, BCD 219 [LHS 96], BMC 56 (p.40), cf.SNG Cop.48, SNG Delepierre 1944). Lightly toned, very fine and rare.

Ex Alan Jordan Collection and purchased from Noble Numismatics Sale 82 (lot 3902).
