MOESIA INFERIOR, Istros, (400-350 B.C.), silver stater, (4.116 grams), obv. two young male heads facing, side by side, left inverted, right upright, rev. sea-eagle standing to left on dolphin to left, which it attacks with its beak, above **ISTRIH, DI* monogram below dolphin, (cf.S.1669; SNG BM 251, Pick 440, SNG Cop. 198). Nearly very fine, rare.
