BANK OF NEW SOUTH WALES, Newcastle, five pounds, uniface printer's proof on paper, not dated (18-- printed), stamped SPECIMEN in Manager reserve, imprint of Perkins Bacon & Co London, Hardened Steel Plate, 'from this to Goulburn 8th Augt 1862' in pencil in Manager reserve (MVR 7c). Paper thinning due to remnants of glue spots on back corners, three small edge tears, otherwise extremely fine and rare.
