MYSIA, Pergamon, (c.after 180 B.C.), silver cistophoric tetradrachm, struck c.76-67 B.C., (11.58 g), obv. Cista mystica within ivy wreath, with serpent emerging, rev. two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase, above, ME and monogram **PR*Y (=prytaneis), city monogram to left **PERG*, serpent-entwined thyrsos to right, (cf.S.3950, Kleiner MN 23, No.39, Pinder 113, SNG Cop.436. Bright, weak in places otherwise nearly very fine.
