IONIA, Island of Samos, (c.470-460 B.C.), silver triobol or hemidrachm, (1.35 g), obv. forepart of winged boar to right, rev. lion's head to right within incuse square, (S.4627 [£100], Barron Pl.XV, 20, cf.BMC 62, cf. SNG Cop.1677). Very fine and rare.
