CLAUDIUS, (A.D. 41-54), silver denarius, (3.51 g), issued 44-5., Rome mint, obv. TI CLAVD CAESAR AVG P M TR P IIII, laureate head to right, rev. PACI AVGVSTAE around, Pax-Nemesis winged, advancing to right, holding winged caduceus pointing down at snake, (cf.S.1846, RIC 29, [R3], RSC 56). Good fine and very rare.
