MAGNIA URBICA, wife of Carinus, (A.D. 283-285), billon antoninianus, issued Lugdunum mint, (4.32 g), obv. diademed and draped bust to right of Magnia Urbica, around MAGNIA VRBICA AVG, rev. Venus standing to left holding apple and sceptre, around VENVS GENETRIX in field to left D, (S.12421, RIC 337, C.11). Good very fine and rare.

Ex D.J.Foster Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 48 (lot 3184).
