SULTANS OF BENGAL, Ghiyath al-Din Bahadur, (A.H. 963-968; A.D. 1555-1560), mintless type silver rupees, probably struck at Lakhnauti or Tanda, years 966 967, 968, (R.587, G&G B967); together with Sultans of Delhi, Islm Shah, (A.H. 952-960, 1545-1553) silver rupee 955 Gwailor mint (G&G D961); another a temple piece as imitative of rupee of Delhi Sultan ('Indian Tokens' M.543). Mostly fine - good very fine. (12)
