AYYUBID, al-Kamil Muhammad , (A.H. 615-635) (A.D. 1218-1238), gold dinar, Al Qahira mint (Cairo), blundered type (c.A.H. 624-635 type) probably an imitative issue, (4.19 grams), (A.811, Balog 371-382 Type B, [p.150], cf.M.829). Good very fine and very rare sub type.

Ex Iran hoard c.1965, probably the only coin of this type present in the hoard.
