CONDITIONAL PARDON, New South Wales, in favour of Patrick Thorton by the Ship Blenheim, 20 Decr. 1848, on vellum with embossed paper seal attached, signed by Governor Fitzroy. Extremely fine.
Thornton was sentenced to transportation for life in 1834 for sheep stealing.
