M. VOLTEIUS M.F., (c.78 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.89 g), obv. bust of Attis or young Corybas to right, wearing laureate helmet, symbol behind, rev. Cybele seated in chariot to right drawn by two lions, letters above, M.VOLTEI. M.F. in exergue, (S.315, Cr.385/4, Syd.777, RSC. Volteia 4). Even grey patina, slightly off centred on the obverse, otherwise very fine and rare.

Mommsen notes that this coin was struck in reference to the Ludi Megalenses in honour of the goddess Cybele.
