ZEUGITANIA, Carthage, assorted group of AE 15-27, (late 3rd century B.C.), most with obv. wreathed head of Tanit to left wearing triple pendant earring, rev. horse standing to right or left, (S.6497-6516) it includes (2 coins) of Numidia, Kings of, Masinissa and successors, probably Micipsa, (c.203-118 B.C.), AE 26, obv. bearded and diademed head of Macipsa to left, rev. horse trotting to left, (cf.S.6597, SNG Cop. 505, Mazard 50). Poor - nearly fine. (15)
