JUSTINIAN I, (527-565), gold solidus, issue of 538-545, Constantinople mint, (4.46 g), obv. helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, holding cross on globe, rev. Angel standing facing holding long cross and cross on globe, (S.139, DOC 8h). Gash on centre of reverse, otherwise extremely fine/good very fine.
