EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy II, (285-246 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.24 g), Sidon mint, obv. head of Ptolemy I to right wearing aegis, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front **[S]I*, around traces of **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, (cf.S.7772, Sv.713, SNG Cop 506-7). Bright, obverse and reverse very worn, otherwise fair/very good.
