TI. QUINCTIUS, (112-111 B.C.), silver denarius, (3.84 g), obv. Hercules bust to left from behind, wearing lion's skin, holding club at shoulder, rev. Desultor galloping left, a second horse beside, TI Q divided by a rat, below D.S.S incuse on tablet, (S.174, Cr.297/1, Syd.563, B.Quinctia 6). Minor surface roughness and hoard corrosion, toned, otherwise very fine, scarce.
