Pte Gustave Jahn, service no.5/422, Wellington Regt, NZEF, grocer, age 26, born at Melbourne, Australia; son of Mrs E.Zucker (formerly Jahn), of Wellington, NZ; Emb.26Jul1916; WIA07Jun1917 and to 1st Aust CCS; 21Jun1917 to hospital GSW to back; Disch.28Mar1918 Medically Unfit due to virus (tuberculosis) contracted while on active service on Western Front; DOD 06Feb1920; buried at Wellington (Karori) Cemetery.
