TIBERIUS, (10-12 A.D.), issued under Augustus (27 B.C. - 14 A.D.), AE As, Rome Mint, (10.53 g), obv. Around TI CAESAR. AVGVST. F. IMPERAT. V., bare head to right of Tiberius, rev. S-C in centre, around PONTIFEX. TRIBVN. POTESTATE. XII., (S.1755, BMC 271, RIC 469). Very fine or better, very scarce.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 3671) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
