TITUS, (A.D. 79-81), issue struck at Rome as Caesar in A.D.74, silver denarius, (3.20 g), obv. T CAES IMP VESP, head laureate to right, rev. PONTIF TR POT around, winged caduceus, (cf.S.2445, RIC 178 (Vespasian), BMC p.29, RSC 167). Very fine and scarce.

Ex Dr. V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 3419).
