SEVERINA, wife of Aurelian, (A.D. 270-275), billon antoninianus, Antioch mint, (4.05 g), obv. diademed and draped bust of Severina to right, around SEVERINA AVG, rev. around CONCORDIAE MILITVM, Concord standing to left holding two standards, H to left, in exergue XXI, (S.11705, RIC 4, C.7). Some silvering, nearly extremely fine, very scarce.

Ex Dr. V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 109 (lot 3898) and the D.J.Foster Collection and previously from I.S. Wright, Sale 94 (lot 340).
